Thank you to the Richards and Cheung families for sharing with us the traditions and history of Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year lasts 15 days, which begins with the New Moon and ends with the Full Moon. Mrs Richards shared the authentic family lanterns and condiment tray which is customary during this time of year. Mrs Cheung also delighted us with dumplings fresh from Boston's own China Town. Thank you also for the generous red envelopes which both families gave each child -- complete with lucky coins! Gung Hay Fat Choy!
