Mrs Mary Ellen Grady, Assistant Principal of the Middle School , came to our classroom for Community Reading Day. She read us the third grade selection, 14 Cows for America, an extraordinary tale of generosity shown by a small Kenyan village to the American people after 911. The story is a perfect connection between our school community and our long standing relationship with the Kenyan Marathoners. Mrs Grady was "wowed" by the comments and questions posed by our class, which earned the bioys and girls the final pom pom towards our class award.
